Correlator Vers. 1.6 Release Note.
- Latest stable version
- Importing variously formatted text and data files has been improved and made more flexible. This includes allowing for letters in file names like "U" in U1331A both in Core and Log data files as JANUS, LIMS, LDEO DB's etc.. have different conventions.
- Import of Log Data now allows users to select multiple log curves at the same time so multiple reloads are no longer necessary.
- If multiple data types are loaded, multiple evaluation graphs are now shown during compositing and splicing . Primary curve where tie is being made is red while others are shown in gray.
- In Display Preferences, Ruler Depth Scale Slide now has Min/Max boxes that allow user to set interval of display. Default is now 20m. Set at the beginning to adjust to your screen size.
- New/Alternate Splice has been enhanced so you can save New Splice, keep it in view as Alternate Splice and build new splice along side. Alternate Splice data type can be changed along with the splice table used to construct it.
- Core-Log integration between single or multiple cores with log data has been cleaned up from some conflicts with filtering.
- User developed Age/Depth table can be constructed manually by adding datums one by one on Age Depth Model Tab of Correlator .... or a table of age/depth datums can be imported as follows
- Age Models imported/input manually/or from old style JANUS range charts can be saved as a Model under Age Models.
- New Age/Depth Datums can be added in mbsf, mcd, or eld depths.
- Age Scale and Depth Scale Control Sliders also now have Min/Max controls so different intervals can be displayed.
- To increase flexibility of importing data or sharing Correlator directories, Importing a Data Repository is a new function found under File Menu along with choosing the Data Repository Path.
