The Stratigraphy data has five different types of biostratigraphic and paleomagnetic age control data.
- foraminifera
- nannofossils
- diatoms
- radiolaria
- paleomagnetic
The file is written as ASCII text.
The Stratigraphy data format is as follows:
datum name, label, age top, age bottom, leg, site, hole, core number, section type, section number, interval, mbsf, leg, site, hole, core, sec type, sec no, interval, mbsf * mbsf : meters below seafloor B_P._finalis P1 1.4 1.4 154 926 A 7 H 4 70 56.70 154 926 A 7 H 5 70 58.20
It defines age at that depth range in core.
P1, age of the range from 926 A, Core 7 at 56.70 to 926 A, Core 7 at 58.20 is 1.4.
