Correlator Splice Tables

The SPLICE TABLE contains the tie points which are used to build the spliced data record from the depth-shifted core data.
The SPLICE TABLE tie points are determined using the splice features of the SPLICE tool under the right tab.
The SPLICER TABLE can be used to generate the full spliced data records.

The SPLICE TABLE should be saved frequently as the splicing progresses.
The file is written as ASCII text or XML - these data can be downloaded and pasted directly into the Initial Reports volumes.
The SPLICE TABLE format is as follows:

If there is one tie, the splice begins at 926B, Core 1 (0) and continues in 926B until section 1H-4 (4.76). then A splice is made to Hole 926C 1H-2 (4.76 cm), and data is read in that hole until sample 926C-1H-2 end point.
