Correlator ELD Tables

The ELD(Equivalent Log Depth) TABLE contains stretch rate, mudline adjusted log offset and the stretch/compress tie points which are used to build the eld data record from the spliced record.

The ELD stretch rate and mudline adjusted log offset are determined using the automatic integration calculation features of the Auto Core-Log Integration tool under the right tab.

The ELD TABLE tie points are determined using the manual stretch/compress integration features of the Core-Log Integration under the right tab.


The ELD TABLE can be used to generate the full stretched/compressed spliced data records.

  • the records are core data


The ELD TABLE should be saved frequently as the core-log integration progresses.

The file is written as ASCII text or XML - these data can be downloaded and pasted directly into the Initial Reports volumes.

After processing Auto core-log integration, ELD stretch rate and mudline adjusted log offset is generated. ELD stretch rate is applied to core data, and mudline adjusted log offset is applied for depth shift of log data.
