How to Make Splice Ties

You make ties through a series of actions described at Correlator Mouse Actions. Here we take you through the step-by-step process:

  • Drag a core from Composite side into Splice side.
  • Make Ties like Composite Ties.
  • Shift-Left mouse click to set a Tie.

  • Next, grab the green dot, and move it up and down until it is correctly spliced. Then release the mouse.

  • Click Splice to Tie on Splice tab in the right side of the window.
  • Or Use a right click(ctrl-right click:at mac) on the green dot to see your options, and Click Set.

  • The cores will be spliced and combined.

Constrained and UnConstrained Splice Mode

  • You can select constrained or unconstrained splicing mode on Splice tab in the right side of the window.

  • Above pictures are from constrained splice mode, The following picture is from unconstrained splice mode.

  • If you want to save splice table, Click Save Splice Table on Splice tab in the right side of window.

  • After saving, you will get success message.

  • Or Click Save from the Tool bar.
  • Select What you want to save, and Click Save.
